The bay of Bork Havn is over a kilometre wide and shallow enough to stand almost everywhere, sheltered like a bathtub at the southern end of the fjord. From almost any wind direction between southwest and northeast you get clean flat-water conditions. The surf schools even keep kids’ rigs ready, and many a watersports career has started right here.

More than just surfing

The calm, shallow water suits not only kiting and windsurfing but also SUP and your first cautious foiling attempts. The harbour offers infrastructure, rentals and somewhere to stop for a bite. Families find a complete package here: while one person practises, the others go paddling.
