Lagoon and chalk cliffs

Rødsand is a sheltered, shallow lagoon behind the dam, calm water in which you learn beautifully. Møn is the counterpart: the main spot Klintholm Havn has a gently shelving sandy beach and, depending on the wind, anything from chop to a medium wave, best with east, southeast and west to northwest. An insider tip is the spot about 500 metres east of the harbour in an easterly.
Our take: Møn is one of the most beautiful spots we have ever stood at, riding in front of the white chalk cliffs is hard to top. If you are still practising, take in the calm lagoon of Rødsand first, then the backdrop of Møn as your reward.
Getting there and staying over
Both spots are easy to reach by car, and there are campsites on Møn and around Rødby. It pairs nicely with a visit to Møns Klint.
