Wustrow and Zingst sit on the same narrow spit of land as Dierhagen, with the bodden on one side and the Baltic on the other. Long sandy beaches, pines right down to the water, and depending on the wind either shallows or waves. Calm, wide-open Baltic to make you feel at home.

Two sides, one spot
Just like in Dierhagen, you get to choose here too: calm shallows on the bodden side at the back, sandy beach and waves on the Baltic out front. West to southwest is the main wind direction, and in May and June the wind often turns thermal from the east. Autumn brings stronger storms for the experienced.
Our take: Zingst is rest and relaxation with wind. The pines down to the beach, the open space, the clear air, you can come here even with family who don’t surf, and everyone gets something out of it.

Getting there and staying over
Zingst has several campsites close to the water, plus holiday apartments in the old seaside resorts. A spot well worth a whole week.
