Which size? By wind and weight

Kite size follows the wind and your weight. Guide values for approx. 75–80 kg (lighter = smaller, heavier = bigger):

Kite types & features

  • All-round/freeride: stable, easy relaunch, good depower , the best choice for learning and for most riders.
  • Big air: lots of boost and hangtime (Rebel, XR) , for high jumps, more for the experienced.
  • Wave: compact with good drift (Neo, Pivot), so the kite doesn’t drop in the wave.
  • Struts: 3-strut = light & agile; 5-strut = stable in strong wind. Relaunch & depower are key for learning.

Price orientation 2026

Rough direction (kite only, without bar): previous-year/entry approx. €700–1000, current mid-range approx. €1200–1500, premium/SLS approx. €1600–2000. A bar costs separately approx. €450–600. Tip: previous-year models save a lot and are great for learning.
